RSV and Me Dr. Fadwa, Pharm.D., 26 November 202219 May 2024 What is RSV? RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is a relatively harmless virus that attacks mostly infants and children under two years of age. It can generally be treated at home with chicken soup, orange juice and rest, but of course for babies it can be a little more challenging due to the breathing issues. In those cases, a monoclonal antibody called Synagis can be employed. There have been known safe and effective treatments for this disease for years. Where does RSV come from? RSV is actually a subset of the polio virus, but through gain-of-function research conducted in a lab, researchers actually ended up making the RSV virus from chimpanzees. The pharmaceutical industry has wanted to make a vaccine for RSV since the 1960s, but when we keep injecting animal proteins, the body does not recognize these foreign objects and it continually attacks them. The body just cannot get rid of these proteins, which in turn can cause autism, cancers, autoimmune disorders, and more; we have seen this with the MMR vaccine. What is different now? A new and complicating factor is the COVID “vaccine.” COVID-“vaccinated” individuals are usually asymptomatic but carry just as much viral load in their noses as an “unvaccinated” person. As they are asymptomatic, they do not realize that they are an active vector for the disease, so they go about their day interacting with people as normal. The “unvaccinated” person would likely be symptomatic and therefore stay home to recover and not spread the virus. Furthermore, our children are aging faster due to the COVID spike protein. With their bodies constantly under attack they do not have the same concentration of glutathione, the anti-aging master antioxidant, in their bodies. They are left without proper defenses against the slew of viruses and diseases they would normally have had no problem fighting on their own prior to COVID, and even prior to mobile devices – that is a story for another blog. Studies have also proven that the masks children wore were carrying pathogenic bacteria in them. Cancers like leukemias and melanomas are now becoming more frequent in children since they’ve been “vaccinated.” With this new bioscape, when RSV does occur it is harder to control and the symptoms are more elevated than they used to be. What can we do? As always, an NRF2 activator can help the body produce more glutathione to mop up the oxidative stress that ages the body and lowers immune defenses. This is the single best low-cost/high-reward supplement you can add to your daily regimen. Blog
